Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
The Contracts Specialist will perform a full spectrum of contractual tasks including drafting and minor negotiation of agreements linked to Intuitive Surgical’s commercial and customer support activities. The Contract Specialist will ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulations and contribute to projects aiming at improving Intuitive Surgical’s business support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing, and discussing contracts, letters and further documents associated with commercial and customer support activities of Intuitive Surgical (e.g., simple sale and lease agreements, product loan agreements, training, proctoring, consulting, sponsoring, , discount/rebate agreements and other miscellaneous agreements, based on Intuitive Surgical's templates).
- Ensure compliance to company policy and applicable regulations.
- Build partnership with Intuitive Surgical’s Marketing, Clinical, Legal, Sales, Services, Accounting, Logistics and Finance teams and other internal stakeholders on various commercial, system sale process and customer support processes and ensure quality contractual support and advice.
- Develop and maintain positive customer relations with external customers; coordinate various functions within the company to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain Intuitive Surgical's various contract databases, contract life cycle management.
- Generate and distribute reports for the purpose of monitoring and measuring contract status and revenue.

Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in reviewing, , and managing customer relationship.
- Strong interest towards business and commercial, financial activities, readiness to work hand-in-hand with Sales in the frontline.
- Detail oriented, organized and able to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, as well as strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize duties.
Languages:
- Fluent in English and German is required, additional European language is a plus.
Location
- Based in Freiburg office, on site 3 days a week
