While our job is to make sure every regulation and safety consideration is followed to the letter, we are not gatekeepers. We’re opening doors, collaborating with people across Intuitive to make things better. You’ll find Quality team members on the shop floor, working with operations and manufacturing to ensure compliance, or in the lab talking through a new feature with engineers. On the Regulatory side, we’re helping to get products approved in new markets and for new indications, increasing access to our solutions around the globe.
Some Quality and Regulatory teams just keep things running as they are, but we are anything but complacent. Our benefitsThe Regulatory & Quality team worked with teams across Intuitive to ensure product safety and performance, clearing the way for regulatory approval for our latest robotic system. From initial designs through clinical trials, Regulatory & Quality was there, creating validation strategies, working with the FDA to ensure they got the information they needed, enabling regulatory compliance and final clearance.
