Essential Job Duties

  • Serve as the digital solutions technology expert. Understand how our digital solutions integrate with Intuitive’s robotic platforms and within the hospital enterprise. Support the sales process through the preparation and presentation of consultative integration strategies for our digital application infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with customers and sales partners to develop functionality requirements that will establish the definition for the project. Effectively navigate hospital technology intake processes to gain acceptance and prioritization for our implementation.
  • Partner with colleagues to achieve implementation goals, ensuring thorough documentation and careful project transitions, to satisfy the clinical expectations.
  • Collaborate with product development and go to market teams to identify industry trends and strengthen digital solutions, providing feedback to shape product direction. Support the development of customer-facing technical documentation.

Required Skills and Experience (Specific skills, knowledge, and experience that an individual must possess in order to successfully perform in job)

  • Minimum 4+ years of work experience in medical device consulting with specialization in healthcare technology
  • Previous experience in building and presenting architecture diagrams, addressing technical questionnaires and RFI/RFPs, and translating clinical expectations into technical requirements
  • Understanding of Hospitals’ technical acquisition and implementation processes, healthcare technology market, and industry trends.
  • Advanced knowledge of server, database, storage, networking, HL7 and DICOM interfaces as well as cloud hosted services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of stakeholders – operational, clinical, and technical
  • Experience with audio/video capture devices and virtual collaboration tools. Basic knowledge of video endoscopy systems, OR integration systems, operating rooms, and procedure rooms is preferred.

  • Able to travel up to 25%. Some short notice travel required
