Job Description
rimary Function of Position:
This position has the opportunity to make a direct impact to Intuitive US Marketing initiatives that deliver da Vinci Surgery to patients worldwide. With the direction and guidance of the US Clinical Marketing leaders, you will develop, drive, and support the US marketing efforts for Gynecology. You will have a particular focus on working with a cross-functional team of leaders to develop the market for and grow procedures with the use of the da Vinci Surgical System and its associated products (e.g. Vessel Sealer Curved, Force Bipolar etc.).
This position will be responsible for development and coordination of various strategic and tactical clinical marketing initiatives to drive procedure growth within the US Gynecology business. The individual will be expected to establish strong relationships with the marketing and sales teams, external Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), as well as internal ISI stakeholders such as other marketing departments, training, clinical affairs, legal, regulatory, and Market Access / Health Economics.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that accelerate da Vinci adoption in Gynecology, with a focus on da Vinci 5 and SP.
- Build & execute high impact marketing plans and corresponding tactical plans / programs to achieve budgeted growth projections in key areas of Gynecology.
- Develop qualitative and quantitative data and experiences to segment and deeply understand existing and new markets, the surgeon, their practice, the patient journey, and the clinical procedure steps.
- Utilize market knowledge to design and develop strategies and value messaging (clinical, economic, operational, strategic), collateral, tactics, and programs with demonstrated ROI.
- Assimilate Gynecology market trends and their potential implications to current and future work/projects. Understand competition and develop competitive differentiation.
- Contribute to budget, resource allocation and financial planning for projects / programs with measured ROI to justify through multiple marketing / media channels (webinars, sales collateral, etc.)
- Work with Key Opinion Leader surgeons to better understand how the da Vinci Surgical System and instruments are being utilized and determine how to communicate that value proposition to other physicians.
- Develop and build KOLs by market segment with the goal of making Intuitive the preferred industry collaborator.
- Build relationships with key society members / leaders to establish a higher level of engagement to ensure Intuitive is seen as an integral collaborator when planning congresses and implementing guidelines.
- Coordinate trade show activities, digital & website development, strategies, and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions.
- Coach other Marketing colleagues in on-boarding, learning marketing standards, and growing their business acumen (clinical, hospital, or academic).
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high value marketing projects and programs.
- Deliver impactful presentations to senior and executive Intuitive leadership.
- Be a market expert in the area of Gynecology – effectively leveraging the value propositions, approved claims, surgeon feedback, and sales input to maximize Intuitive’s footprint and growth trajectory in this area.
- Be a champion of the Intuitive culture; learning and embodying the company’s individual expectations for success.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- 12 plus years of marketing experience in a therapeutic medical device company preferred.
- Proven ability to align diverse teams and use influence marketing strategies to drive business impact.
- Results-driven attitude & a resolve to win; must be self-directed with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to solve open-ended problems and work cross-functionally to implement initiatives.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills, teambuilding, and relational skills to work across multiple constituents.
- Bachelor degree required, MBA or Masters degree preferred.
- Must be well versed in MS Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
- Must be available to work full-time hours.
- Ability to travel up to 50%

Compensation will be based primarily on the job level at which the role is filled and the
candidate’s qualifications, consistent with applicable law.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target base compensation ranges are listed.
Base Compensation Range Region 1: $188.400 USD - $271.000 USD
Base Compensation Range Region 2: $169.600 USD - $243.900 USD
