Job Description
Primary Function of the Position
This role owns the Logistical execution behind Intuitive’s daVinci and ION customer installations at a global scale. Functional expertise is key to executing the most optimal plan; however, given the importance of delivering the ideal experience for our customers, this role also owns the operational narrative to executive leaders across multiple Commercial and Operations teams. Translating complex constraints and opportunities into audience-appropriate messaging is crucial to stakeholders ranging from frontline teams to the most senior levels of Intuitive.
The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver and exceptional communicator who maintains a customer-centric mindset and can move seamlessly between detailed and executive-level business discussions. Leading a team of Coordinators while establishing scalable processes will enable Intuitive to reliably deliver on commitments to our customers.
Essential Job Duties
Oversee global inventory replenishments and customer final-mile deliveries, partnering with Global Logistics counterparts, 3rd party logistics providers, Field Engineers, Sales and Contract Negotiators
Translating detailed updates into context-appropriate messaging directly to key partner functions, from front line teams to senior leadership (VP and above)
Support internal and external audits in partnership with Quality and Regulatory teams, ensuring process documentation and discipline that delivers quality through the supply chain to our customers
Establish, refine and measure KPIs, leveraging data and predictive analytics to drive improvements
Lead, coach and develop a team of Specialists, establishing clear expectations, supporting professional development, and fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Collaborate with partner functions to resolve gaps in tools and processes that hinder efficient achievement of customer and internal goals at scale
Qualifications
Required Skills, Experience, Education and Training
BS/BA degree or equivalent 5+ years of experience leading people and process
Managing capital shipments through various modes of transport to domestic and international markets
Exceptional communication, tailoring messages to various audiences and organizational levels
Proven ability to operate effectively in a rapidly changing environment where customer and business commitments require creative problem solving
Strong relationship-building skills, influencing stakeholders without relying solely on formal authority
Proficiency and comfortability with various software programs (ie ERP, MRP, WMS, TMS, MS Office, BI)
Working Conditions
Primarily an office environment, with occasional warehouse walking and lifting (up to 35 pounds)
Regular collaboration with internal and external teams across multiple geographic regions and time zones
May require occasional travel to domestic and/or international warehouses or corporate offices
May require work outside standard business hours to support critical customer deliveries
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience in medical device, healthcare, capital equipment, or other highly regulated industries
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt)
APICS Certification (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD)

Compensation will be based primarily on the job level at which the role is filled and the
candidate’s qualifications, consistent with applicable law.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target compensation ranges are listed.

Base Compensation Range Region 1: $138 200 USD - $198 800 USD
Base Compensation Range Region 2: $117 500 USD - $169 000 USD
