Job Description
Primary Function of Position
The Solution Architect will possess functional understanding of Service Manufacturing and Operations business processes and will be a key person implementing business processes software solutions and systems implementation in Service Operations on Applications like SAP S4 HANA, SAP MES. The role serves as enterprise-wide subject-matter expert in process analysis, guiding strategic transformation, innovation, and continuous improvement across the Service organization.
Essential Job Duties
Work as a trusted IT partner for business teams and senior leaders with regards to system solutions for Service Manufacturing processes that include Failure Analysis, Maintenance, Repairs, Upgrades, Disassembly and Remanufacturing. Set standards and frameworks for Service Manufacturing and Operations business process analysis enterprise-wide.
Lead multi-year roadmaps for Service Manufacturing and Operations process innovation and technology integration.
Advise senior leaders on process strategy, risk, and investments.
Direct process maturity assessments and center of excellence development.
Present process results/findings at executive meetings and industry events.
Analyze business processes, perform fit-gap analysis as required, and provide ISI business teams with cost efficient proposals on inefficiencies and risks to determine appropriate process and system design.
Perform hands-on configuration in SAP S4 HANA to satisfy business requirements.
Serve as the primary contact for Production Planning , Shop Floor Execution, and Plant Maintenance functionality within Service area of SAP S/4HANA.
Monitor and support integrations between SAP S/4HANA Service operation and related modules including PP, SD, MM, FI/CO, QM and PM.
Document functional specifications for design gaps during the build phase; support business teams through all testing cycles and Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
Stay current with SAP's best practices in Plant Maintenance and Production Planning functionalities.
Create functional specifications and work with cross-functional teams and development teams to deliver the technical objects.
Review and contribute to design document, configuration documents and functional specifications.
Work with ISI IT and business teams to optimize and streamline business processes and technical solutions.
Identify gaps between current and future state of business processes and help in prioritizing opportunities to improving processes through the usage of Business capability matrix (BCM)
Participate in business user meetings to gather process information to propose sound system solutions.
Collaborate and provide inputs to the development team during development phase to meet the business needs.
Work closely with onsite team, offshore team, managers, and executives to ensure the release of high-quality solutions.
Evaluate and recommend advanced process automation or digital transformation tools.
Mentor lead and senior analysts across all business units.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 12 years advanced experience with large-scale process analysis and enterprise projects and a bachelor's degree in relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
In-depth knowledge of business processes in Manufacturing Execution, Inventory Control, Product Quality, and Engineering-to-Execution.
Experience designing, delivering, and supporting SAP PP and PM applications in S/4HANA environments within a batch / Serial Number managed environment in Medical Device or Life science industry
In-depth knowledge of Master Data: Resources, BOMs, Routings, Production Versions, Equipment, Equipment BOMs, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into functional solutions.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners.
Strategic process design, analysis, and modeling expertise.
Advanced knowledge of process technologies and continuous improvement.
Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities.
Experience working on Service Manufacturing and Operations business processes and configuring applications like SAP S4 HANA with experience in multiple full cycle implementation as well as support projects.
Strong knowledge of SAP MM and SAP Logistics and Production Planning applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required Education and Training
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

Compensation will be based primarily on the job level at which the role is filled and the
candidate’s qualifications, consistent with applicable law.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target compensation ranges are listed.
Base Compensation Range Region 1: $182.200 USD - $262.200 USD
Base Compensation Range Region 2: $154.900 USD - $222.900 USD
