Description

Position’s Objective & Summary:


The SAP Business Analyst is responsible for supporting mission critical enterprise applications such as SAP. The Business Analyst provides day-to-day application support to the EMEIA back-office Customer care team among others. The Business Analyst will participate in local and global projects that will increase or improve current application functionality. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with business users to understand business processes and document requirements in order to provide solutions and to create test cases scenarios.

  • Designs, builds, tests, deploys, documents and supports SAP solutions according to specifications and project schedules while following ISI IT Policies.

  • Manages incident tickets per service level agreements.  Works on root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Serves as point of contact and first level of escalation between local SAP users and global SAP support teams.

  • Supports SAP related inquiries and requests such as IT estimations, feasibility studies and knowledge transfer.

  • Develops and executes end user training.

  • Leads small to medium size projects in Europe.

  • Uses experience and expertise to suggest and implement improvements to current business processes.


Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

 

  • Minimum 3 years of SAP experience including supporting implementations with multiple languages and country requirements

  • Experience working on a Global IT team located across different countries and different time-zones.

  • Education: Bachelor degree, preferably in Engineering, Business or Information systems.

  • Strong SAP knowledge in the SD module– skills involving configuration, customizing and setting up the enterprise structure.

  • Strong knowledge on business process in SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC master data, transactional data flow and in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

  • Strong understanding of ITIL concept and software development lifecycle.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English 

  • Must be a self-starter, collaborative, quick learner, solution-oriented and have a proven track record of timely, high-quality deliverables

  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously in a fast moving environment.

  • Proven experience in leading projects of at least 100 man days of effort.

  • Proven problem-solving skills.

  • Critical thinking to challenge requests whenever appropriate.

  • 5-10% travel required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Cross functional experience with other modules like FI/MM.

  • Strong verbal communication in French is a plus

  • CPAB (Certified Business Analyst Professional) is a plus

  • Working experience with Trackwise is a plus.
