Roles and Responsibilities:

The Product Owner (IT Product Ops) will have the unique skill set that encompass both the technical and functional understanding of the business processes and will be key in business processes architecture and systems implementation. The role will be of a systems solution expert for identifying, analyzing, refining, translating, and finally documenting business requirements from ISI business teams. 

The role will require a lead capability to assist ISI business teams and provide SAP and non - SAP product operation experience to solve key business issues through the use of best practiced , technology, and IT resources.

• Identify, and participate in prioritization of business capabilities and act as a catalyst for building mature processes with stakeholder partnership.
• Lead, Coordinate, Evaluate, Recommend, Assist and help in implementing IT systems and processes in China and other locations to support global expansion
• Liaise with business to understand the needs of business; Conduct Business Process workshops and analysis. Guide business discussions and ISI business teams to make appropriate decisions
• Analyze the current solutions architecture and propose solutions for making this robust.
• Build architecture scalability to meet ISI’s Product ops, IT standards and user requirements
• Document processes, decisions and resulting specifications in a blueprint document ready for systems implementation.
• Design, and test system solutions to address business requirements.
• Guide the implementation projects team and solutions delivery team in alignment with ISI’s IT’s methodologies and governance model. Interface on a day to day basis with other analysts, business users, super users and IT team members to support business operations and drive change management.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well integrated and aligned to the overall enterprise architecture
• Explain technical issues and IT solution strategies to stakeholders and other IT
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in solving complex business problems and coaches/mentors other team members with design leadership to achieve organizational goals
• Analyze impact of changes to the corporate application landscape / enterprise Architecture
• Investigate, research and evaluate new applications and/or technologies and application integrations that will improve productivity
• Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution architecture



• The ideal candidate will have a strong production, operations, or systems manufacturing experience. Strong experience in the planning, scheduling and execution functions of SAP PP for discrete and repetitive environments in a make-to-order or make-to-stock environment is a must.
• Strong collaboration, negotiation, and influence capability required.
• Ability to work on multiple projects / initiatives for Solution design concurrently.
• Experience with deep understanding of IT Applications and Technology.
• A very good expertise in the area of Supply Chain and Manufacturing is an added advantange
• Deep understanding of the integration with other ECC (SAP) modules and non SAP software is required.
• Strong hands on SAP PP/MM configuration experience.
• Hands on experience in designing and implementation of SAP and non-SAP landscapes
• Experience in GxP systems and Computer System Validation in a regulated environment is certainly preferred.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Engineering or Computer Science.
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience leading projects is required.
• Experience mapping business processes and associated requirements is required.
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices is a plus
• Experience with incorporating user feedback into solutions and backlogs is required.
• Strong communication skills are required, including at the executive level.
• Ability to work independently without daily supervision is required.
• Knowledge of IT change management tools and methodologies is required.
• Ability for travel to China needed – 15-20%
