Primary Function of Position:

We are looking for someone who has a combination of both Cost Accounting and FP&A skills. They should be able to pull together detailed cost information and summarize in a variety of ways to support business decisions. Provide leadership of the FP&A processes across all of the Business Unit FP&A teams. Develop, analyze, and interpret the financial data for the company’s total gross margins, inventory and inventory reserves. Provide budgeting, forecasting, and spend management support for the Centralized Product Operations functions of Global Corporate Marketing, Medical Office, User Design, and Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance. Provide capital and expense reporting forecast and actual and act as a business partner to Senior Product Operations leadership.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage two direct reports to support the following roles and responsibilities of this position:

• Reporting & Analysis of total rollup (STD Margin and OCOGS) of Product Revenue and Margin by Profit Center
• Responsible for budgeting and analysis of MFG Operations expense and capital spending
• Inventory valuation and reconciliation
o Gross inventory
o Inventory reserves (excess and obsolete analysis)
• Establish and maintain inventory performance metrics
• Lead on Bi-Annual budgets for certain functions within Product Operations
• Royalty oversight
• Freight administration
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis/ business partnering with operations management

Skill/Job Requirements:

• B.S. in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum 3+ years management and 10+ years total Finance/Accounting experience including the following skills:
• Leadership
• Business partner relationship development and influence, including strong communication skills
• Development spending analysis
• Excess and Obsolescence analysis
• Inventory Analysis
• Cost/Business modeling and what-if analysis
• Clear track record of goal execution and process improvement
• Strong excel skills, as well as be comfortable in extracting data through database queries in Business Warehouse environments
