We are searching for a dynamic, talented Demand Planner to ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient, scalable and cost-effective. You will be responsible for all demand planning duties for external and internal demand streams, including estimating future demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.
To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly analytical, results-oriented, resourceful, resilient, a self-starter and a problem-solver. You should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills. The successful candidate should also have an in-depth knowledge of advanced mathematical and forecasting policies. An understanding of Regulatory constraints that impact Medical Devices Products would be helpful.
Qualifications• Develop effective forecast models based on industry/business trends and demand patterns, including New Product Introductions and all phases of product lifecycles.• Facilitate collaboration with Product Marketing, Finance, Service Organization and others as needed.• Support management with risk assessments, alternative plans and mitigation activities.• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy, incorporating input from critical stakeholders and ensuring alignment.• Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management, highlighting E&O and stock-out risks.• Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.• Conduct monthly forecast maintenance and Quarterly Sales & Operations Planning Demand meetings.• Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields required. Master’s Degree highly preferred.• APICS and/or IBF Certification.• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a demand planning/forecasting role, preferably in Capital Equipment Medical.• Leadership and Project Management experience.• Experience in New Product Launch, expanding geographic markets, and end-of-life Product forecasting.• Solid understanding of forecast modeling• Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.• Knowledge of SAP, Hyperion, S&OP software solutions, Agile.• Knowledge of plant networks, and management of new plant additions to the network.• Capability to multitask in a fast paced environment.• Excellent written/verbal communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.
