The da Vinci® Key Customer Manager plays a critical role in building and developing the installed base of da Vinci® Surgical Systems within key account represented facilities in the United States.  The major responsibilities are to manage and direct the corporate level sales of da Vinci® Surgical Systems and to grow the utilization through increased procedures.  This will be accomplished through a variety of activities including corporate level relationships, hospital/account specific activities and direct interaction with ISI da Vinci® Sales Managers.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide single point of contact for all Investor Owned, GPO and IDN groups
  • Negotiates group contracts and sales
  • Provides clients with product information, demonstrations, etc.
  • Responsible for both maintaining and growing business in contracted groups
  • Manage expenses within budget
  • Manage the development and implementation of national sales campaign
  • Manage key surgeons/customer relationships
  • Active involvement in weekly and quarterly sales planning process
  • Extensive travel


  • 2-4 years of experience in Capital medical equipment sales
  • Medical sales experience
  • Knowledge of the major national healthcare groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
  • National Account experience
  • Sales management experience
