Position’s Objective & Summary:
The Tender Specialist manages individual tender submissions as part of a tender management team, while ensuring compliance with Intuitive’s policies and applicable laws, as well as contributes to the continuous improvement of Intuitive’s tender management processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Tender Process Management
Manage tender related processes in a designated territorial and language area. The scope of the related tasks would entail among others the following:
  • Efficiently manage tender preparation, submission and follow-up processes with stakeholders within and outside Intuitive.
  • Assess tender requirements and documents to prepare tender submissions and to ensure compliance with Intuitive’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Negotiate tender/contract terms as necessary and allowed in the tender process.
  • Draft and compile tender and contractual documents.
  • Maintain and monitor records of outstanding tender submissions and ongoing tender processes.
  • Maintain databases regarding successful tenders.
  • Generate tender and contract related reports as required.
  • Market intelligence activities: proactively screen the market for tender announcements and related news.
Tender Process Development
  • Contribute to process development initiatives and projects regarding tenders.
  • Continuously develop and maintain a tender document and language library, develop and maintain tender-related templates.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, political science, legal or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in tender and contract process management in a regulated environment, preferably in medical device or pharmaceuticals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general tenders, contract terms and contract management
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience of commercial transactions hereunder pricing, statistics and product marketing.
  • Detail-oriented, organized work attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-confident and flexible team player who is committed to share experience, knowledge and is committed to adapt to the team’s needs.
  • Fluent in German and English.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • French is highly desirable. Further languages are of advantage are the any of the Nordic languages.
  • Experience with business IT applications (SAP, SharePoint, Salesforce).
