Primary Function:
  • Drive end-to-end accounting activities of several entities in both US Gaap and local Gaap
  • Liaise with local accounting service provider to ensure all requirements are met, drive quality and timeliness of all deliverables
  • Drive local statutory audits with external auditors, annual shareholder meeting and all related statutory obligations
  • Liaise with FP&A Analyst to meet management accounting/analytical requirements
  • Be recognize as the “local” expert in all accounting and financial matters
  • Back-up Supervisor in all areas
  • Drive projects and process improvement programs to completion.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Perform all type of standard accounting entries
  • Prepare the Monthly closing audit binder to first enable controlling and secondly facilitate month end reviews managed by the Management.
  • Proceed with the Monthly closing reporting by entity in line with US Finance guidelines.
  • Follow through on all needed accruals, liaise with vendors/requestors of POs when needed
  • End-to-end accountability for local accounting corporate obligations, internal and external audit compliance.
  • Prepare EU VAT reconciliations/declarations for the related entities, participate in the potential VAT audits.
Support to the team
  • Provide support to both the Management as needed: Information requests and analyses, lead P&L and balance sheet reviews.
  • Act as a back-up for the other accountants and colleague when necessary.

Skill/Job Requirements:
  • Formal accounting qualification is required. University graduate or Brevet in accounting is a plus.
  • Detail oriented and high analytical skills
  • 5 to 10 years of accounting experience in a multinational environment is required.
  • Quickly able to handle/embrace, with high independency levels, all accounting and administrative activities
  • Open minded to an international, growing, fast changing environment.
  • Ability to communicate at highest level of management (French & English)
  • Multi-cultural and absolutely fluent in English and French. Knowledge of one other European language (such as German) would be a plus.
  • Good knowledge of major integrated systems, knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Good skills on Excel applications
