Intuitive is looking for a creative, highly engaged Graphic Design Intern to join our growing Creative Design team.

Our da Vinci Surgical System is an advanced platform for minimally invasive surgery that has touched the lives of more than five million patients worldwide. Our system acts as a natural extension of a surgeon’s eyes and hands through a combination of cutting-edge robotics, immersive 3D stereoscopic vision, and intuitive human-interface controls. Over the past two decades, this revolutionary technology has brought about a new era in minimally invasive surgery.
As Graphic Design Intern, you will create compelling customer experiences — relying on your strong design and production experience — print and digital. You will conceptualize and design solutions from start to completion under the guidance and mentorship of designer team members. We’re looking for a passionate and talented creative who thrives on taking initiative and creating work that breaks through the clutter.
· Must be concurrently enrolled and returning to an academic program in the fall in an accredited degree-seeking program, and pursuing a BA or MFA in Graphic Design.· Must be available to work full-time hours, M-F for 10-12 weeks beginning Summer of 2019.
· Brainstorming and developing concepts under the direction of the Senior Designer/and Design Manager· Designing with a strong emphasis on print as well as for multiple digital channels including ad, site and/or display· Attending kick-offs and collaborating with Project Managers to make sure projects are on track· Execute designs from conception to final mechanical file hand-off to print and/or digital production teams· Researching relevant brands and pulling inspiration· Mocking up creative as need for design presentations
· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the latest design tools including Adobe CC· Ability to juggle multiple projects at a time· Ability to work within established visual guidelines and frameworks· Attending kick-offs and collaborating with Project Managers to make sure projects are on track· Ability to juggle multiple projects at a time· Ability to work within established visual guidelines and frameworks· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the latest design tools including Adobe CC
