Description

The da Vinci® Senior Director, Key Accounts recruits, manages activities of strategic Key Account Directors and ensures the achievement of key accounts sales targets.  Plays a critical role in leading and managing a team whose focus is building and developing the installed base of da Vinci® Surgical Systems within key account represented facilities in the United States.  The major responsibilities are to manage and direct the corporate level sales of da Vinci® Surgical Systems and to grow the utilization through increased procedures.  This will be accomplished through a variety of activities including corporate level relationships, hospital/account specific activities and direct interaction with ISI Area Sales Managers.
 
Roles and Responsibilities
 
  • Recruit, train, and manage the activities of his/her team
  • Provide a single point of contact for all Investor Owned, GPO and IDN groups
  • Negotiates group contracts and sales
  • Provides clients with product information, demonstrations, etc..
  • Responsible for both maintaining and growing business in contracted groups
  • Manage expenses within budget
  • Manage the development and implementation of national sales campaign
  • Manage key surgeons/customer relationships
  • Active involvement in weekly and quarterly sales planning process
  • Extensive travel
Qualifications

Qualifications Required:
  • Medical sales experience 
  • Knowledge of the major national healthcare groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
 
Qualifications Preferred:
  • Capital medical equipment sales
  • National Accounts experience
  • Sales management experience
