Joining Intuitive Surgical means joining a team dedicated to using technology to benefit patients by improving surgical efficacy and decreasing surgical invasiveness, with patient safety as our highest priority.

Primary Function of Position:
This position is being created to manage the complicated logistics and tracking of IT equipment and mobile phones throughout the company.  This position will also be responsible for ensuring proper ordering and stocking levels of equipment as well as managing to budget.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This position has responsibility and authority for:
  • Plan, order and receive equipment to maintain stocking levels (In-house and with supplier) guaranteeing enough lead time so that there are no shortages
  • Responsible for creating/editing/updating all Procure to Pay processes
  • Manage accuracy of all inventory transactions in BMC Asset Management
  • Perform quarterly business reviews with suppliers
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy and compliance with processes
  • Receive,  restock, and account for equipment returned from exiting employees
  • Manage all IT Equipment expenses within given budget
  • Work with 3rd party company to ensure timely processing of mobile phone requests
  • Manage mobile rate plans to avoid overpayment while also avoiding use overages
  • Periodically review usage reports to identify mobile usage trends
  • Respond to requests for IT assistance from users
  • Install Windows operating system

  • Inventory management and/or Logistics experience required
  • Strong customer service, written and verbal skills required
  • Experience working with Mobile providers for multiple lines desired
  • Experience with budget management and forecasting desired
  • Good MS Excel skills strongly desired
  • MS Access skills / basic database understanding desired
  • Flexibility to perform tasks outside of normal duties
  • Able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in completing work assignments while complying with verbal and written instructions
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
