Roles and Responsibilities:

The Solution Architect (IT Manufacturing) will have the unique skill set that encompass both the technical and functional understanding of the business processes and will be key in business processes architecture and systems implementation. The role will be of a systems solution expert for identifying, analyzing, refining, translating, and finally documenting business requirements from ISI business teams. 

The role will require a lead capability to assist ISI business teams and provide SAP and non - SAP manufacturing industry consulting experience to solve key business issues through the use of best practiced , technology, and IT resources.

• Conduct Business Process workshops and analysis; Bringing in Discrete and Process manufacturing best practices to help manufacturing processes in ISI.
• Analyze the current SAP Manufacturing and interfaces solutions architecture and propose solutions for making this robust.
• Build architecture scalability to meet ISI’s manufacturing, IT standards and user requirements
• Guide business discussions and ISI business teams to make appropriate decisions
• Document processes, decisions and resulting specifications in a blueprint document ready for systems implementation.
• Design, develop, and test system solutions to address business requirements.
• Guide the implementation projects team and solutions delivery team in alignment with ISI’s IT’s methodologies and governance model.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well integrated and aligned to the overall enterprise architecture
Qualifications

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have a strong production, operations, or systems manufacturing experience. Strong experience in the planning, scheduling and execution functions of SAP PP for discrete and repetitive environments in a make-to-order or make-to-stock environment is a must.
• A very good expertise in the area of Supply Chain and Manufacturing is an added advantange
• Deep understanding of the integration with other ECC (SAP) modules and non SAP software is required.
• At least two SAP implementations.
• Strong hands on SAP PP configuration experience.
• Hands on experience in designing and implementation of SAP and non-SAP landscapes
• Must have experience working in Discrete, repetitive, MTO,MTS manufacturing, 3 projects end to end.
• Expert in Manufacturing BOM, Routings, Work center, Planning Calendar
• Expert in Business and configuration of SAP modules
• Experience in GxP systems and Computer System Validation in a regulated environment is certainly preferred.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Engineering or Computer Science.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience leading projects is required.
• Experience mapping business processes and associated requirements is required.
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices is a plus
• Experience with incorporating user feedback into solutions and backlogs is required.
• Strong communication skills are required, including at the executive level.
• Ability to work independently without daily supervision is required.
• Knowledge of IT change management tools and methodologies is required.
