Description

Primary Function of Position:
 
The Sales Compensation Analyst is responsible for working within the Sales Compensation team in collaboration with Sales Operations to support implementation of our incentive compensation plans for the sales force in Western Europe, Middle and Eastern Europe and UK/Ireland.  As an integral part of our sales compensation team, the Sales Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing detailed analysis of compensation performance. This is a highly analytical role involving the manipulation of large data sets, a developing knowledge of sales and compensation concepts, the ability to work independently and meet deadlines aligned with internal customer needs.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Support the  implementation of incentive compensation plans;
  • Support Senior Leadership in compensation plan design;
  • Monitor and analyze compensation results relative to sales performance;
  • Develop tools and dashboards that clearly communicate compensation element performance
  • Interact with Sales Operations, Commissions, Finance and other teams as needed to ensure accuracy of data used to determine compensation;
  • Assist with Compensation Committee activities, including ensuring agenda items are adequately analyzed and decisions are captured;
  • Assist with quarterly quota resolution program / processes, including analysis of compensation impact and creation / maintenance of dashboards that support executives’ understanding of the program
  • Use analytical skills and tools to verify or dispel anecdotal insights
Qualifications

Skill/Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years in a Sales Operations or Finance role
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with scenario analyses
  • Strong Critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to support and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
  • Advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills
  • Working knowledge of Tableau, SQL, and CRM systems (Salesforce.com)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
