Primary Function of Position:

The Global Market Access Team at Intuitive is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working, professional market access analyst / medical writer to support the development of key market access materials including, but not limited to, HTA/VAC & tendering submissions, value dossers, evidence creation and management initiatives.

Reporting to the Director, Global Market Access & Value Management, this individual will provide consultative, analytical, and medical writing support to Intuitive’s Global Market Access Team (Global Matrix) as well as members of teams and colleagues from other departments and will participate in value creation processes across all clinical verticals. She/he will work with the team to identify, evaluate, and summarize clinical evidence for the creation of key market access communication materials and health economic tools for messaging with health care providers, payers, patients, and policy makers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform evidence gap assessments, assessing the clinical, economic and humanistic strengths and weaknesses of Intuitive’s technologies and other competing technologies based on existing literature across clinical verticals.
• Support development of Intuitive’s global market access platform, MOVE.
• Manage MOVE Platform to include updated clinical and economic materials and tools for use across Intuitive’s Market Access, Marketing, and Commercial organizations.
• Summarize findings and create value propositions and messaging based on peer reviewed publications related to the clinical and economic performance of Intuitive.
• Present and interpret findings to cross-functional teams, including market access, hospital channel marketing, clinical affairs, biostatistics, market research, clinical and product marketing, and publication teams.
• Deliver findings through abstract or manuscript publications where possible
• Develop systematic reviews to support economic modeling and evidence-based healthcare decision.
• Support the Global Market Access, HTA, Health Policy, Reimbursement, and Market Research teams with other primary and secondary research design, collection and analyses as requested.

Skill/Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in health related field including, but not limited to health economics, health services research, epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, public health, or related field.
• 2-4+ years of experience in related field
• Experience in medical writing
• Fluency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience working in a collaborative project team/environment
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Keen business acumen in understanding the needs from customers
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively. May work extended or non-standard hours based on project needs and deadlines.
• Strong command of oral and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in health related field
• Prior experience in medical device market access
• Experience in project management
