Primary Function of Position:
The Sr. Manager, Intuitive Business School (IBS) is responsible for leading the creation and management of the commercial leadership development strategy for the EU Intuitive commercial organization.  This position is responsible for enhancing the leadership capabilities of our Commercial leaders and building the skills necessary to ensure we have a strong pipeline of leadership talent within the three EU regions.  All duties are performed in accordance with Intuitive corporate and departmental practices, policies and procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Align with Commercial Leadership, Intuitive Global Talent Development, and key stakeholders to build a strong pipeline of managers and leaders in the commercial organization.
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate the Commercial Leadership Development programs, including Management Development, Leadership Development, New Manager Onboarding, etc.
  • Consult with regional business leaders, HR, and Global Talent Development to identify leadership capability opportunities and needs; integrate this input into all curriculum development 
  • Partner with regional business leaders and key stakeholders to establish a balanced curriculum of management and leadership competencies
  • Identify and make recommendations for leadership development tools and resources
  • Benchmark leadership development best practices and emerging trends to make recommendations of program design, development tools, and methodologies
  • Incorporate multiple delivery modalities into all program designs, including instructor-led, web-based, virtual classroom, and blended instruction. 
  • Strong, effective communication across all levels of organization
  • Work with Intuitive leadership teams in the development, staffing and delivery of all programs and courses offered

 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • 3-5 years sales management experience required, medical device preferred
  • Communication: Persuasive/Impactful, negotiation skills, consensus builder, Builds and leverages both internal and sales relationships
  • Problem solving and decision making: Curious, defines and diagnoses problems; creatively develops solutions, new process and systems thinking, seeks to create clarity
  • Change management: builds alignment at all levels of organization resulting in process and performance improvement
  • Strategic planning: competent analytical skills, develops actionable 1-3 year plans
  • Facilitation and teaching: effective presenter;  executive presence; engages audience in teaching sessions
  • Program/curriculum design: design learning continuum of connected programs that address knowledge, skills and motivation learning objectives; balance
  • Content development: build engaging presentations, job aids, and learning aids
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time
  • Can live in local market, travel to training programs
Preferred knowledge, skills, and Experience:
  • Corporate sales training experience preferred
  • Strong English fluency
