Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
The Senior Supervisor – Manufacturing FP&A will support the Finance and Controlling department for the financial management of three manufacturing site in Parvomay, Bulgaria.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Budgeting as well as monitoring for the local production organizations in close cooperation with the General Management on-site. Lead the standard cost roll process for Endoscopes
- Management and controlling of the monthly reports, quarterly reports and annual reports according to HGB and US-GAAP in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines
- Review results with local management and observe corrective actions for potential deviations
- Management and further development of Project Controlling and Production Controlling
- Preparation of target-performance analyses / variance analysis as well as development of recommendations for future actions and strategies
- Continuous improvement of internal procedures and processes in the field of responsibility
- Management & Development of the future local finance team in Bulgaria
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Successfully completed business management studies with a focus on Finance, Accounting and Controlling
- 7+ years of diverse working experience in the field of controlling.
- Experience in international reporting
- Experience as a controller in a production environment is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Bulgarian GAAP as well as international accounting (US-GAAP)
- Good knowledge of SAP
- Any data analytics skills are an asset (SQL, EDW)
- High level of integrity, commitment and ethics
- Good energy level and active participation in improving the business (from a financial perspective) based on data analysis
- Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, curiosity. Can influence decisions by presenting fact based data.
- Can work under pressure and motivate team
- Entrepreneurial thinking
- Strong communicator, structured work approach
- English & Bulgarian business fluent (written and oral communication)
