Job Description
Primary Function of Position
This role will manage and maintain technology for Real Estate and Workplace Services. Implement technologies to improve employee interaction with physical spaces. Manage service levels, control costs, and ensure building system reliability. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to define requirements and SLAs. Exceptional project management experience and industry technology knowledge are required to define and implement new services and enhancements.
Essential Job Duties
- Manage and maintain Facilities-Engineering technologies. This includes IWMS, EOC, local BMS, and energy monitoring applications.
- Leverage existing systems to establish a roadmap for Facilities technology that supports business operations.
- Develop a policies and procedures playbook for Facilities-Engineering technologies.
- Establish and track SLAs and KPIs which define how technologies support Facilities.
- Work closely with Workplace Technologies to gather requirements, design and build new systems that support Facilities-Engineering business needs.
- Refine data communication that supports conclusions with dashboards and reports.
- Manage change process when technologies change.
- Hold vendors accountable for performance and cost goals. Ensure service levels are clearly communicated, understood, and performed.
- Support new construction design and adherence to construction playbook.
- Participate with Construction project managers in commissioning and starting new building facilities technologies systems, including IWMS and BMS.
- Inspect new system installations and validate the status/progress of the projects.
- Seek energy saving opportunities and sustainability initiatives by examining data and engaging industry expertise.
- Examine and control budget.
- Travel domestically as needed (anticipated 10 - 30% travel).
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in the building controls and/or Facilities technology industry including commissioning, software integration operation, and calibration.
- Ability to examine large data sets and produce valuable, actionable conclusions.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Project manager experience on controls and construction projects.
- Highly developed interpersonal / communication skills. Writing and speaking skills through written proposals, meeting facilitation, and oral presentations are essential.
- Experience managing contractors and vendors to established SLAs and KPIs.
Working Conditions
- Ability to walk construction sites and manufacturing space to assess systems.
- Ability to safely work on a ladder.
- Lifting of loads up to 30 pounds.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent degree) or relevant work experience.
- Experience using Smartsheet, Tableau, Autodesk, BIM360Field and Procore.
- Knowledge of sustainability, LEED system, LBC standards.
- Certified in the following: CAP (Certified Automation Professional), and/or PMP (Project Management Professional).
- Demonstrated a flexible and open-minded approach to issues and innovation. Stepped outside standard procedures to deliver the best solution to customer demands.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $101,300 USD - $145,700 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $86,100 USD - $123,900 USD

Travel: 25% of the time
Workplace Type: Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
