Job Description
Primary Function
As a Sr. Application Software Developer, you will work with a dedicated team to enhance our Aperture platform, enabling Field Service Engineers to service our systems efficiently. In this role, you will design, implement, and test complex software that allows field engineers to perform and document tasks such as error analysis, part replacement, calibration, and preventive maintenance. Our team frequently interacts with end users, witnessing firsthand the impact of our work on their daily lives, and enjoys the flexibility to drive innovative improvements.

Essential Job Duties
- Interface directly with stakeholders to ensure we are developing effective software.
- Assist in the development and documentation of effective requirements and efficient test strategies for the service software.
- Work in both a collaborative multidisciplinary setting to drive high level changes and solve deep technical issues independently.
- Write software that interacts directly with our robots and improves the traceability and efficiency of field service procedures.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Python
- Experience with Qt
- Experience developing desktop applications for Windows
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
Required Education and Training
- Minimum BSc degree in Computer science or adjacent technical field with 8 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6 years of experience, or PhD degree with 3 years of experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience building service tools
- Experience developing software for Windows
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with JavaScript
- Experience with QML
- Knowledge of C++ and Matlab

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.
Base Salary Range Region 1: $176,300 USD - $253,700 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $149,900 USD - $215,700 USD

Travel: 10% of the time
Workplace Type: Purposeful Onsite - This job requires being onsite for leader-defined events and activities which could be monthly/annually. Onsite frequency may increase based on business need.
