Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
Our digital solutions provide technology to enable easier capturing, archiving, live streaming and sharing of clinical video and other data around diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, while also allowing for a complete integration with electronic medical records (EMR) and picture archival and communications (PACS) systems.
We are seeking a highly motivated technical expert to install and support our digital products and to ensure service agreements and warranty obligations are fulfilled to the highest satisfaction. This person shall thrive to exceed customer expectations and maintain customer satisfaction at the highest possible level. The position will be located in the Nordics (remote setup), with a focus on Nordic countries, but will also serve any other markets as per current needs.
Qualifications
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Performs remote server installation as well as server, network and services configurations
- Performs physical system installations, when needed (exceptional)
- Installs system upgrades
- Provides technical support to customers and other Intuitive employees.
- Performs maintenance inspections as required to ensure system meets performance specifications
- Troubleshoots and repairs Intuitive products and associated equipment failures
- Maintains accurate configurations of installed base
- Supports tradeshow activity
- Maintains up-to-date documentation, which include but not limited to; Field Activity Reports, Return Material Authorizations, etc.
- Provides excellent customer support by timely addressing reported issues
- Provides feedback to improve processes and efficiencies
- Is the advanced technical go-to person with regards to Intuitive’s digital solutions
- Creates and validates architectural, technical, and functional design of the system
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Minimum:
- 7-10 years of field service experience with medical systems preferred.
- Proven track record of troubleshooting medical software systems.
- Good written and oral communication skills – English and Danish or Swedish.
- Windows Operating System and server system administrator.
- Professional installation and wiring of PC hardware in multiple configurations (wall, boom, mobile cart).
- Proven administrative and record keeping skills.
- Strong analysis, troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independent and purposeful from remote.
- Effective self-management with moderate supervision.
Preferred:
- Hardware and Software installation and configuration.
- Healthcare and Medical system installation.
- LDAP configuration and troubleshooting.
- SQL system administrator and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of core IT technologies (e.g., network systems, operating systems, databases, access controls, IT operations, etc.).
- Travel <15%
Additional notes and physical requirements:
- Ability to work from remote.
- Able to enter surgical and other patient care areas.
- Ability to travel up to 25%. Some short notice travel required.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
