Job Description
Positions Aim and Summary:
The Sr Manager, Intuitive Ventures Finance acts as the Finance manager for Intuitive Ventures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Serves as the Finance manager for Intuitive Ventures.
- Manage accounting, performance reporting, and financial operations of the fund
- Support investment team on investment diligence
- Partner with investment team to develop bottom-up forecasts for investment diligence
- Develop exit scenario models and valuation analyses
- Support investment team on portfolio management
- Post investment management of the accounting and financial reporting functions of Intuitive Ventures and its portfolio companies
- Help develop and support portfolio follow-on capital allocation / investment strategy
- Responsible for financial management of fund expenses. Includes reviewing and approving requisitions. Guides the quarterly forecast and annual budgeting processes.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in medical device-focused Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Equity Research, Buy Side, or Venture Capital roles.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in leading deal teams to develop M&A models. Execute on VC investments, manage diligence processes, and provide Intrinsic/Relative value perspectives.
- Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Inquisitiveness and ability to navigate ambiguous circumstances.
- Profound critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Medical device industry experience and ability to master our organizational strengths.
- Exceptional deal structure, business modeling and valuation expertise.
- Ability to present, articulate, and justify analyses, diplomatically, on a routine basis.
- This role requires working out of our Palo Alto office Monday through Wednesday and Sunnyvale office Thursday every week.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.
Base Salary Range Region 1: $172,000 USD - $258,000 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $146,200 USD - $219,400 USD
Shift: Day
Travel: 25% of the time
Workplace Type: Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
