Job Description

Primary Function of Position

Intuitive’s People Experience team is passionate about creating a workplace where employees are informed, engaged, and inspired to have a positive impact on each other, our company, and the world.

We’re looking for a seasoned and versatile employee communications expert to inform and engage our employees in our corporate culture, governance, and social responsibility. In this role, you will lead complex, high-priority communications initiatives from start to finish—consulting, strategic planning, creating content, and executing—to inform and engage our most important stakeholders, our employees!

Essential Job Duties 

  • Lead the development and deployment of broad communications strategies for corporate functions across our Corporate Strategy, Inclusion & Diversity, Intuitive Foundation, Legal, Medical Affairs, and People Brand organizations, with the opportunity to serve additional clients as the business evolves.
  • Advise and influence key executives and business clients as their primary communications partner, developing communications strategies, messaging platforms, and communication plans to achieve their business and internal communications objectives.
  • Develop crisis communications strategies in partnership with functional and regional communications partners.
  • Create a variety of written, visual, and multimedia communications and leverage internal communications channels—intranet, digital signage, email, forums—to deploy effective messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Lead the development and execution of global campaigns, supporting the creation of corporate vehicles and materials to engage global employees around key business priorities, corporate culture, and our values.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal, global client partners at all levels and across several corporate functions.
  • Measure success through communications dashboards and evolve programs based on insights.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, including the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments while paying close attention to detail with a critical editorial eye.
  • Ability to synthesize complex concepts quickly, navigate ambiguity, and creatively solve tough problems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude.
  • 12+ years of employee communications work experience.

Required Education and Training :

  • Working knowledge of AP style.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, or business administration, or equivalent work experience.

Working Conditions None

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Graphic design and video editing skills.
  • Experience leading employee communications for DEI, Legal and/or social responsibility functions.

*This position requires on-site work in our Sunnyvale, CA offices a few days a week,  and as needed.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $166,200 USD - $249,400 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $141,300 USD - $211,900 USD
Shift: Day
Travel: 10% of the time
Workplace Type: Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
