Job Description
Primary Job Functions & Summary:
As the Senior/Principal Financial Analyst for Digital FP&A, you will be situated at the intersection of strategic financial planning and digital transformation. You will drive financial planning for our Digital organization while acting as the primary finance business partner to our Digital Product Security and Network Operations (PSNO) team. This is a high-impact role that positions you to heavily influence decision making at the Digital and Corporate levels.
In this role, you will own key deliverables such as driving the consolidated forecast and monthly financial reporting, own cloud cost modeling and KPIs, drive financial operations best practices for cloud, while developing innovative decision-making frameworks for infrastructure investments. Your work will directly influence executive-level decision-making, helping guide the company’s digital strategy and infrastructure investments as we continue to scale.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of financial planning and reviews for the Digital organization, serving as key liaison between Corporate FP&A and Digital FP&A teams.
- Consolidate forecasts, budget and monthly close readouts that provide clear, actionable insights to leadership. Leverage support of contractor team to drive scalable, efficient routine financial processes.
- Be a strategic partner collaborating closely with Digital PSNO leadership to drive cloud FinOps excellence, ensuring we optimize our infrastructure costs while maintaining worldclass security, privacy, dand performance of our digital platforms.
- Prepare executive-ready infrastructure cost models and KPIs, and develop decision-making frameworks for infrastructure (cloud, on-prem hardware and licensing).
- Develop deep knowledge of key cost drivers within the BU, and partner with the business leaders on cost rationalization efforts including discrete purchase decision analysis, helping develop effective cost and operating metrics and targets and holding teams accountable to achieving sustained cost efficiency.
- Responsible for financial management of fixed cost, headcount, & capital expenditures for PSNO. Includes reviewing and approving capital requests and purchase requisitions, ensuring that the accounting is accurate and that requests have been budgeted.
- Ad hoc decision-support, financial modelling, reporting and evaluation.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in technology / health care sector focused on FP&A, sales operations, consulting, corporate strategy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Desire to learn and the ability to navigate ambiguous circumstances
- Profound critical thinking skills.
- Broad and deep experience set working across critical business partners to deliver with urgency & excellence.
- Track record of delivering autonomously and the ability to drive change on behalf of a partner, handling uncertainty with excellence and creating structure amidst ambiguity.
- Ability to present, articulate, and describe analyses, diplomatically, on a routine basis.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and changing requirements.
- Must be willing/able to work onsite 3 days/week at our Sunnyvale, CA office
