Job Description

Primary function of position:

The IQC Inspector will perform inspections on purchased parts, assemblies, and products to ensure that the specific quality requirements of incoming products are met before they are released for production and as finished goods. The results of these inspections will be documented and communicated clearly.

In this role, you will work for one year in Germany at our Biebertal plant and then return to Bulgaria to support our IQC department at our Parvomay plant.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct various inspections (dimensional, visual, and documentation checks) of micro-optical, mechanical, or electronic components based on drawings or other specifications as part of the production process.
  • Operate standard measuring tools as well as complex measuring devices during different inspections.
  • Handle materials in accordance with guidelines to prevent mix-ups, damage, or other adverse effects.
  • Perform self-checks to ensure compliance with quality requirements according to specifications.
  • Prepare quality documentation in both paper and electronic formats (Word, Excel, SAP, Q360).
  • Evaluate inspection parts in case of deviations regarding their further use and make independent decisions based on the results.

Qualifications

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Successfully completed vocational training with at least 2 years of professional experience in incoming inspection/quality control/final inspection or similar roles.
  • Proficient in using standard measuring tools and complex measuring devices.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good knowledge of GMP and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Solid understanding of technical contexts and the ability to think analytically.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills in Bulgarian and a good basic understanding of English.
  • Proficient in using standard MS Office software and experience with an ERP system/document control system and/or QMS software.
