Job Description
Primary Function of Position
Position Overview: The Business Operations Sr. Manager will report to the Vice President Product Quality and with other senior managers govern strategic initiatives, monitor, and identify operational efficiency metrics / programs, and key CIP/WIN goals, and ensure effective communication across the Product Quality (PQ) organization. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Essential Job Duties
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Partner with the VP Product Quality and PQ Leadership Team to develop and implement the organizational strategic plan.
- Monitor progress on strategic initiatives and provide regular project / program updates to the QARA LT.
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the organization.
- Operational Management:
- Establish, control, and monitor strategic plans, and CIP / WIN goals
- Implement and improve business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between the VP Product Quality, senior management, and other staff members.
- Managing and coordinating meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Facilitate effective communication within the Product Quality organization through the coordination and facilitation of all employee meetings; site townhalls, and QORs.
- Prepare and manage internal and external communications on behalf of the VP Product Quality.
- Project Management:
- Drive and manage special projects as directed by the VP Product Quality.
- Oversee and govern projects and initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on-budget.
- Manage program communications and report status updates and key actions via regular status reports and ensure visibility to core team and all levels of leadership.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Mentor and support the professional development of team members.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage by example, demonstrating the organization’s values and culture.
Qualifications
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in data analysis and budget management
- Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management
- Proven success in a project coordination/management role
- Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions
- Strong project-reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communication`
- Preferred 7-10 years of experience in a strategic, operational, or executive role. Previous experience as a Chief of Staff or similar position is highly desirable.
:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a University degree; or 8 years experience and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
- Skills:
- Excellent strategic planning and data-based skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and initiatives.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $163,800 USD - $235,800 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $139,200 USD - $200,400 USD
Shift: Day
Travel: 10% of the time
Workplace Type: Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
