Job Description
Primary Function of Position
Intuitive has an outstanding opportunity for an Emergency Operations Manager to join the Safety, Security, and Resilience team. The Emergency Operations Manager helps Intuitive prepare for emergencies and disasters. This includes reviewing emergency plans, conducting training, and working closely with key stakeholders.
The Emergency Operations Manager provides situational awareness for emergency response. They support the Incident Response Team and Incident Management Team. They also connect with employees and stakeholders during mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts.
Essential Job Duties
- Conducts routine evaluations of sites and nearby areas. This helps improve overall site safety, security, and emergency response capabilities.
- Acts as the Coordinator for the regional Incident Response Team and the Operations Chief during emergencies. In this role, coordinates activities with other site incident managers and cross-functional teams.
- Helps build standard operating procedures and training programs for the Emergency Management program.
- Establishes training for the emergency response team. Conducts and schedules building evacuation drill training. Creates a process to document training records for ISO standards and audits.
- Facilitates post-incident response reviews (After Action Reports). Partners with affected teams and site leadership to ensure timely deployment of improvement opportunities across the site.
- Works autonomously in a corporate environment.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- High level of written and verbal communication skills highly preferred
- Operational understanding and working knowledge computer proficiency (Word, Excel, internet, etc.) highly preferred
- Speaking and presenting in front of groups
- Display a professional appearance and maintain personal composure in an exciting environment highly preferred
- Project management, change management and planning experience.
- Solid understanding of the Incident/ Emergency Command System
- Strategic thinker who understands the balance between a corporate environment and security. The candidate must have a dedicated customer-focused perspective.
- Minimum of 5 years of emergency management or 5 years of public safety experience
Required Education and Training
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management or work experience equivalent; in a corporate and/or manufacturing setting highly preferred
- ICS 300 and ICS 400 and IS 100, IS 200, IS 700

Base Salary Range Region 1: $88,200 USD - $126,900 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $74,900 USD - $107,900 USD

Travel: 25% of the time
Workplace Type: Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
