Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a solution-oriented, customer-first minded, and hands-on professional to bring digital solutions to realization and provide dedicated support for our networked and digital offerings. The Product Integration Engineer is directly responsible for performing IT security assessments and discovery, virtual server build, product configuration, installation, set up, and training for hospital IT staff on our clinical media management and other product lines. This is a key position within our digital organization and will work closely with other departments.

Roles and Responsibilities

Act as subject matter expert for technical specifications and requirements for digital solutions with customers and internally with cross-functional teams.
Support overall project management for technical implementations of digital solutions.
Pre-sales IT discovery with hospitals to confirm server and network requirements.
Implement IT and security assessments with customers for digital solutions.
Pre-implementation verification to prepare site for remote connection and product installation.
Blueprint technical architecture of digital solutions within hospital system environment based on predetermined clinical workflow and agreements.
Build virtual machine (media server) and network connections
Coordinate installation and perform configuration for digital products.
Provide explanation and training to hospital IT department post implementation.
Implement new configurations, upgrades, and enhancements as needed.
Support ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for installed digital products.
Liaison with local and corporate teams on new product introductions, upgrades and activities relating to digital solutions.
Other tasks associated with support for digital products as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

Skill/Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in relevant position (technical architecture, system engineering), required
2+ years of experience in medical technology / medical software systems, strongly preferred
Hands on experience with Windows Server IIS or SQL database installation, LDAP or ActiveDirectory, HL7, DICOM. Strong understanding of network operations, configuration, and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, HTTPS, router skills, VLANs, VPN, firewall, NAT/PAT), required
Understanding of information security and privacy best practices (i.e. ISO 27001), preferred
Ability to discuss technical information with a wide range of audiences adeptly
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills for customer interactions and network issues.
Good written and oral communication skills
Strong personal management and administrative ability
Ability to travel up to 25%
Japanese language: Native level
English language: Business level written and oral ability
