Job Description
Primary Function of Position
In this role, the recruiter is responsible for managing the entire recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding, for a variety of technical positions. This includes candidate generation, client management, and offer negotiations. Is also responsible for developing and executing robust talent acquisition strategies for specific skillsets, while building and maintaining relationships with business leaders, HR business partners, and other critical stakeholders.
Key functions include candidate generation, conducting candidate phone screenings, filtering resumes, offer and onboarding processes. In addition, is responsible to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, build relationships with hiring sources, and provide guidance and support to the recruitment team.
Success in this role will be driven by the ability to develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies to accomplish the Mexicali Hiring plan.
Essential Job Duties
- Serve as a subject matter expert for recruiting initiatives
- Source and develop prospects into candidates, engaging them and performing assessment/screening while keeping a strong focus on diverse candidate slates
- Conduct initial interviews and participate in Interview debriefs
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their technical requirements and develop a hiring strategy
- Consult with hiring managers to continuously improve their talent acquisition capabilities
- Lead client update meetings on active searches
- Presenting/negotiating employment offers on behalf of Intuitive
- Develop talent mapping in key technical areas for the company.
- Develop and maintain relationships with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Drive and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all type of roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Be a strategic recruiter who adds value beyond filling jobs.
- Partner with client groups to meet assigned headcount goals.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies.
- Proficient in using all available recruitment tools and resources.
- Develop sourcing strategies to ensure strong candidate flow.
- Publish open positions through authorized communication channels.
- Utilize various sourcing techniques (job boards, social media, networks, referrals) to attract top talent.
- Build talent networks and tap industry sources for an ongoing candidate pool.
- Organize internal and external employment fairs.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment sources (universities, associations, networks).
- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend process improvements.
- Continually contribute to the knowledge base by providing education on relevant industries and talent pools.
- Foster external relationships with top talent for future hiring needs.
- Ensure a diverse candidate slate for hiring manager consideration.
- Maintain a high candidate touch and focus on candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Timely disposition and notification of all candidates.
- Communicate status and progress on open searches.
- Understand job requirements and build candidate pipelines.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate selection tests and schedule interviews.
- Schedule medical exams and validate references.
- Request required documentation for the hiring process.
- Prepare and extend offers for selected candidates.
- Track and analyze talent acquisition metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire, to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Talent Acquisition team.
- Drive Culture Strategy by fostering mission, principles, and expectations.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).
- Talent Management or Applicant Tracking System experience preferred.
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, continually prioritizing workload.
- Strong attention to detail with good organization and follow-up skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish and English).
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
Required Education and Training
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience required. Human Resources/Management courses preferred.
- 5+ years experience recruiting, sourcing using multiple sourcing techniques for both active and passive candidates and/or functional experience
- Knowledge of Human Resources management practices and Federal and State employment laws.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with employer branding and recruitment marketing
- Experience working with remote teams
- Knowledge of emerging recruiting trends and technologies
- Experience with data analysis and reporting to measure recruiting effectiveness
- Experience with project management and process improvement
